Natural Remedies Dispensary Denver

In 2009, Natural Remedies became one of Denver’s first 20 medicinal cannabis dispensaries, proudly owned by a Denver native and operated with the help of his family. Not long after, in April of 2014, Natural Remedies entered the recreational marijuana market. Natty Rems, as it has since been coined, has been located in the LoDo neighborhood of downtown Denver for 5 exciting years. Natural Remedies cultivates 100% of all marijuana flower it provides by hand. The magic takes place in one of two warehouses that total over 30,000 square feet. In addition, Natural Remedies has boasted its own in-house concentrate line called Concentrate Remedies (CRx) since mid 2015.

Natural Remedies strives to provide the most sought-after and boutique grade cannabis products, utilizing only the highest quality genetics, ingredients and care. Natural Remedies has been fortunate enough to win several awards starting in 2012 when it entered it’s first High Times Medicinal Cannabis Cup.  There, Natty Rems took home a silver medal in the Sativa category for it’s medicinal patient favorite, Red Headed Stranger #14. Since then Natural Remedies has experienced tremendous success and has earned various awards to show for it.

Brothers Grimm Seeds

While studying Nuclear Engineering at a college in Upstate NY, Mr. Soul learned to grow marijuana in a spare room of his apartment. “I read everything about growing marijuana I could get my hands on, but I was especially interested by Robert C. Clark’s ‘Marijuana Botany’”. Mr. Soul sent a letter to the owner of the Super Sativa Seed Club in Amsterdam and after weeks of discussing breeding and genetics, they offered him a job. He became their USA seed distributor to their American customers in 1987. He used his engineering skills to design hydroponic systems and climate control systems for his growing operations. He organized the garden work flow; scheduling and performing all phases of cannabis production; seedlings, mother plants, clones, flowering, harvest, manicuring, drying/curing and seed storage.

These projects became increasingly larger and cultivation was soon his full-time occupation. He became known as “Mr Soul” to the online cannabis community, where he shared growing and breeding information. He was reliably producing 1 pound per kW and delivering 2 pounds of high-grade MJ per month, when he founded The Brothers Grimm Seed Co. in 1996. His breeding projects produced strains of marijuana that are now world-famous, such as Cinderella 99 (C99) and Apollo 13. These marijuana strains were featured in High Times magazine articles among the top 10 most favored varieties of all time and have also been used by other breeders to create numerous award-winning hybrids.

Andrew Livingston serves as Director of Economics and Research for Vicente Sederberg LLC, the nation’s foremost cannabis business law firm. Justin Jones is one of the founding entrepreneurs of the Colorado cannabis industry. In 2009, he co-founded JGB Ventures, LLC (dba DANK), a licensed medical grow and dispensary in Denver, Colorado. In 2014, DANK became one of the first dispensaries to receive licensure to sell recreational marijuana and has since quadrupled in size.

Since 2014, Jones, along with the members of his partnership group, has started several ventures that have established them as industry innovators and leaders. They licensed Kush Bottles, the market leader in child resistant packaging for the industry; started Denver Consulting Group to provide consultation, training and support documents to the national growing cannabis industry; and most recently, developed CannaScore a compliance audit application for licensed cannabis businesses.

Casey is the head grower for Northern Lights Cannabis Company, with stores in Edgewater and Denver. He began commercially producing Cannabis in 2010 with Alameda Wellness and now owns a cannabis consulting business, Darlow Consulting, LLC. Casey’s lifelong goal is to learn as much as possible in everything he does.
